Hi,

Has anyone got a ecu file remap they could send me to give my 406 a bit more grunt.

Would like to know what options are available ie. increased torque, economy and obviously BHP.

Thank you

Chris.

Hi Chrisely, I don't have an ECU file to send you, but I'm curious as to how you are going to upload the new calibration if you manage to obtain it? Figures I've seen at a reputable source give power and torque gains as follows:

110bhp->137bhp
250nm->290nm

Not bad 8-)
'96 405 1.6 GLX with 306 GTI engine on Cat cams @ 195bhp

'97 406 1.9TD, 314k.

Hi, using a galetto lead and a laptop. Plug it in to diagnostic socket under dash, remove my file from ecu and upload new remap. Very simple for a power upgrade and cheers for the figures.
Thanks
