Post by James Wylie »

Does anybody know the steps involved to change the radiator on a 106 1.5 diesel please?

I don't have a 106D but I do have a Saxo and because many of the radiators are interchangeable between the two vehicles, the removal process is probably similar. Drain off. Remove the air cleaner inlet pipework. Open the spring clips holding the hoses and remove all the hoses from the rad. Disconnect the wiring from the fan and remove the bolts holding the fan shroud to the rad. On mine the fan comes out easier from underneath. Undo the two retaining clips from the rad top and remove it. When refilling, make sure that all the air is removed from the system.

Don't know about the Pug 1.5D, but the Saxo is 7.1 litres.
