calling any one who knows peugeot electrics

i really am bamboozled now, i bought a R reg 306 diesel with broken wipers, they work on there slow setting but intermitant,fast and wash/wipe do not work. the motor jus stops dead as soon as you move the stalk off the slow setting. i have another 306 which i have used to test the stalk and wiper motor, these are both working fine.

i can find the wiper relay on my old 306, its blue and has an obvious set of wires going to it behind the fuse box, but on the new car the relay and any relavant wires are non existant.

it doesnt look like its been hacked around with anything so im wondering if any one knows if for any reason peugeot have ever put this relay somwhere else?

any help would be much appriciated

Have you checked to make sure the motor is getting a good earth
