hdi 406 jerking

Hello all,

my first post please be easy...well not my first post as i was last on here when i had my volcane and citroen zxs after that

Ok issue...

My dads 53 plate peug 406 seems to jerk when accelerating between 30-40 mph and a jerk in the car can be felt. The car has been serviced but issue still persists. As the car is new and not been in the house long its hard to say how longs it been going for.

Any ideas what could be causing this ?

All help much appreciated.

With that symptom, I'd say the first port of call is the MAF sensor. They do go bad - can be cleaned with carb or brake cleaner, otherwise you'll need a new one (and best to buy genuine too)
