Hi I got a P reg 306 D Turbo, when I bought the car the immobiliser had been bypassed the car worked fine for 3 months but now the immobiliser has started working again. I got a keypad type immobiliser any ideas to bypass it or to remove it?
Thanks

Depends on how it was "bypassed" originally really, you did not say.
The "permanent" fix is to de-amour the pump and fit a conventional stop solenoid but its not a pleasant job tbh.
Temporary fix:
Plug in your keypad (assuming you know the code!) , get the green light on after you have entered the code and then unplug the keypad.
It should now in theory stay "unlocked" unless you either flatten / disconnect the battery or plug the keypad back in.
If it was me, I'd go the unplug keypad route then the pump job later if it annoyed me (and it probably would)

The ECU will stay unlocked forever even if the battery is flat or disconnected if you unplug the keypad while its unlocked.spider wrote:

Like spider says it depends how it has been 'by-passed'
What makes you think its the imobiliser & not a different electrical fault ?
