HELP!! still cant find a paint code for my 405GLX

I know I asked the question a few weeks ago - but can someone suggest locations for the paint code on my 96 405 GLX in light silver.

Ihave checked the suspension strut and the label on the door with the tyre pressures - this has a little number XJ00 - but this dosnt seem to relate to a paint code...

is there any text embedded in the VIN number to tell me.

Someone must know!!! I dont know where else to look!

have you looked on and around both strut tops for a stenciled code, or maybe as some people belive on late BX's its stenciled on the N/S door shut, not that i have ever seen it there on all the BX's i have ever had or seen

Don't Peugeot know? The colour was called Platinum Silver.

I had suspected it might be platinum silver.

I had not thought of asking Peugeot - you sort of expect that they stop caring about cars after a certain age.
