406 bodywork

Post by Breedsey »

Some little scrote has banged into my 99 S reg 406 while it was parked outside my house the other night, (i think i know who it is, i'm gonna have a chat when i see him)
My question is, are the headlights and the front wings different on the slightly later models or will they fit on mine?
The mounting lugs are broken on the headlight and the wing's pushed in stopping me from re-aligning the light.

If you mean will mk2 bits fit on a mk1 the answer is, errrm, kindof. It is possible to change the front end over but you're looking at bonnet, bumper, wings, lights, slam panel and grill. It's far too much like hard work to be honest. Individual bits aren't interchangeable.
