We just picked up a 1999 106 Zest 2 diesel which has no keypad immobiliser or central locked/blipper. When we bought the car it came with only one key and obviously we would like to have a spare.
With that in mind we went to get one cut today to be told that this key will have an integrated chip for th immobiliser system? Anyone know if this is the case? If so it looks like a spares will cost £25-£50
Cheers,
Paul

When I was after a key for my old 306 I went to a local key cutters and they did me one for about £20 (it was a few years ago) and they coded it for me by reading the code from my original key and then putting it on the new key.
It did work too so I had a relatively cheap spare.
