307 passenger airbag.

Post by pug_owner2002 »

Hello,

I am going to have a look at a 307 HDi tomorrow as I am hoping to replace my 306.
One question I have is can the passenger airbag be turned off by the means of a key switch, as can be done in the 306?

Are there any common problems etc that I should look out for on these too?

Thanks,

Simon.

I can turn the air bag off on mine with a key switch(03/53)so i would asume the same on a 307.
Plenty of recorded probs on some HDI`s,ie rear fuel pump, sensors etc.
But after having mine for a year & a half/30k,i think its the best engine ever :D .Had a couple of minor probs with sensors, but sooner or later you gotta switch to newer cars/hdis :D

Hi np.
I didn't look at in the end as the garage had sold it when I phoned.
Still on the look out though.
I must admit I'm still tempted with a 406 estate SE HDi but the missus says it'd be too big for her to drive. :(
I think the 307 hatchback might be a bit small if we go anywhere on holiday especially with all of the stuff the baby (once it's born) will need.
