7 seat conversion

just fitted the 7 seat conversion to the 406 thanks to [ lewpy] in the for sale section for all the bits and the seats ,must say what an easy conversion to do, compaired to the one i fitted in my dads volvo v70 [need step by step instructions /pictures] witch i have if anybody want a copy .didnt need anyting like that for the 406 all the bits fitted and now we can fit the kids /dog /and there pals no problem, great car love it the 1st peugeot we have had

Hi, can you tell me, does the 7 seat setup require a thinner spare wheel in the 406?

I got the bits from a breakers but when I go to fit it the spare is definitely too fat. Would a "skinny spare" from another Peugeot do the trick?

Well I found a genuine spacesaver spare for a 406 - they do exist but are rare I think as only fitted with 7 seats?

Useful for others to know this before buying a conversion.
