Diagonising a noise

Post by caveman_si »

Ok gents heres one for you to help save me from dismantalling the whole car to find the problem. (405 1.9td 1995)

When i've got hard right lock on, a grinding/creaking noise come from the front through the front passenger foot well. It is more noticable when im reverse parking.

Also when braking heavily there is a kind of juddery grinding/ creaking noise again coming from the front left side.

in normal driving there is no other noises of note

SO any idea where i need to start looking first?
cheers simon
