Smoke coming from ashtray!!!

405 GLX, Smoke coming form the ashtray compartment (no, it's not a lit cigarette in there)...don't smoke, not long since bought the car and not sure whats causing it, any ideas???

The main central wiring loom passes along under that aera, Have you been using a phone charger?

They can cause problesm with the fag lighter socket.

Has the fag lighter fuse blown in the fuse box?
