I know for a fact that i need 2 manuals for my 305 ive already got one for the chassis etc but i need one for the diesel engine ive found some that say 1.7d - 1.9d 82-90 is this what i need for mine as im sure correct me if im wrong that ive got the 1.8d ?

Your XUD7 engine gets called both 1.7 and 1.8. Its capacity is something like 1,769. So the Haynes manual you've spotted is the right one.
