Working on the 305

Post by ayden »

Hi Guys :D

Hopefully tomorrow (thurs) i want to start trying to do the rear arm bearings on the 305  ive got a manual etc etc but would just like to know would it be possible to drop the rear axle and do it with the axle off the car as when i was in discussion with the peugeot parts specialist :? he told me it was only 3 or 4 bolts to undo and apart from disconnecting everything else that it should come off easily. i am just asking because if i can ill take the axle back to my place and fix it in the warmth  rather than in the cold miles away from home

ideas would be much appreciated
