306 -95: Thing in valvecover ventilation

Post by jesperakesson »

Hello!

I helped my friend when he needed to set the valve clearences on his 306, it has a 1.6 TU5 engine.

I accidentally dropped a thing (filter?) behind block and starter. I wonder what it could be and if its important. It sits in the connection between the tube from the valvecover and the airfilter housing.

Hi

I think I know the thing you are on about, Its part of the oil vapour hose.

Without knowing what year the car in question is I can only guess at part number 1192R2 is what you are after.

Check with your Peugeot dealer or go down the scrap yard & get another one.
