Was in a car park today after getting back from the scrapyard jumped in started her up and selcted reverse although something wasnt right so took it out of reverse and the gearstick was all floppy [:0] popped the bonnet and had a look and the bellcrank pivot bolt has sheared off where the thread starts on the steering rack housing leaving me with no gears [V] ok so i gotta get a new bolt but its getting the thread out of the steering rack by the looks of things its gonna have to be drilled out [}:)]
is this a common thing with this or could it happen to anyone and/or is there a easy way to do it ??
