406 2.1 TD Judder

I recently serviced my 406 2.1TD with new Fuel Filter, Oil and Filter and cleaned the K&N that was fitted to the car when I purchased it.
The car starts fine and ticks over as you would expect. When revving it, itis ok, however when driving there is a judder when accelerating not a clutch judder but a kind of air lock judder.
A friend of mine has been out in the car with me and thought that there was air getting into the fuel filter but I checked this and it is all seated correctly.
I have just taken the car out and it is still doing it.
Please help.

is this the car you bought from me by any chance? I am Antony from Tunbridge Wells.
Was it doing this before the service or since?

Are there any signs of diesel around the injectors as it could be the leak of hoses, does it do it when revving at a stand still? if not I would suspect more of a drivetrain problem over a fuel issue.
