Ultra Sonics......

Post by JonJop »

Hi,
Does anyone know if the ultra sonics on a 306 Hdi have a sensitivity setting on them...if so where is the control for it?
Many thanks

No, but they can be temporarily disabled via the button on the steering column near the ignition switch, or disconnected totally behind the A pillar trim to stop the alarm going off when it feels like it.

Thanks for that, is it a common problem on them then?

Yes, The ultrasonics do go wrong often, Then again most Peugeot factory fit alarms do.

Sorry to add to the thread, but i have a 306 with an alarm issue (it keeps going off all the time).. I disconnected the ultrasonic behind the Drivers side pillar, and its all OK now, but I do want to get this reconnected. Any ideas if its the Alarm itself or the sensor?
Cheers
