When servicing the car I noticed some droplets of oil on the underbonnet sound insulation, parallel to the cam cover. It looks like oil has been sprayed upwards somehow, but can't see how it got through the engine cover, unless it had been driven without the cover on. Anyone like to guess where this may have come from ?
Car is 3 year old and done 25K. There is also oil on the subframes at the back of the engine, I'm hoping it may just have been spilt when filling, because you would be lucky to get a fag paper between the engine and bulkhead let alone a spanner if anything needs tightening or replacing [:(]
