106 Rear Wheel Slanting
My 1998 106 has a slant on the drivers side rear wheel. It seems to go in at the top! drives fine, and cant see any excess wear on the tyres! Someone said it may be the bearings? Any Help Please?
Not sure if the 106 has the rear axle setup that the 306 had... if it does, do a google for ssp engineering. It could be the radius arm (i think its called?) bearings collapsing. It happened to my 306 and the back wheel rubbed when cornering. Hopefuly someone else here can clairfy your rear-axle type.
106 rear suspension is a single trailing (radius?) arm with torsion bar spring and telescopic shock absorber.
Could possibly be the wheel bearing gone, but this would definately be causing a noise as well.
More likely it's the trailing mount bearing. Not worked on this so am not too familiar with it.

Front or rear?
If you've got drum brakes on the rear then changing the bearings isn't too hard.
If the wheel is slanting and it is the wheel bearing gone then I think it would sound pretty bad.
Try jacking the wheel up, grab it top and bottom and try waggling it. then try this while holding either side. Check what (if anything) moves. Next try this with the wheel off (grab the drum/disc) as then you'll see the suspension arm as well. You might also be able to see what is level and what is not - see what's allowing the wheel to sit at the angle it is at.
