pug 306 diesel won't turn off

Post by nickm »

don't know if anyone can help me with this one-my mate turned up at mine this morning and switched his ignition and took his key out but the engine was still running! no problems before this and though he can stall it to stop it, i wondered if anyone knows what to look for?
thanks in advance

If its a XUD, rather than stall it, just open the bonnet and push the stop lever on the fuel pump.
