Cleaning up a sunroof (surround)...

Post by Q4Legend »

Hi, anyone got any tips for sprucing up the surround on a Peugeot 306 sunroof?
It is pretty minging to be honest and appears to be some kind of fine velvet material on top of plastic.
Cleaning the car with normal soapy water doesn't seem to have any effect on this...
Hope you guys know what I'm talking about.
Cheers

A suede brush (brass bristles) works well on this. I had the same issue with a 405 sunroof a while ago. Best to do it while it's damp, and hold a vaccum cleaner next to where you're brushing to collect it all, and stop it falling in to the interior.
