405 wheels - from other Pugs/

Post by dvhttn »

Hi,
Got a 405 with 14" alloys - 185/65-14 tyres. It'd be nice (when the tyres are nearly worn) to go to 15" wheels. I can then fit 195/55-15 tyres. Rolling diameter is the same to 1mm so no differences in speedo etc.
BUT I know that some other Pug wheels will fit the 405. Is it the case that ANY will fit?
Cheers

The 405 Mi16 used 15 inch wheels with 195x55x15 tyres, so that would seem to be the best choice.

Haven't got a 405 myself but if its got 4-stud wheels then you'll find that Ford wheels will also fit.

Hi
I have 306 15" Cyclone rims on my 405 with 195 55 15 tyres on, Look very nice.
205, 306, 309, 405 wheels will fit.
The newer Pugs like the 206, 307 etc have a different offset, You might get them to fit but do check before parting with any money.

Hi,
ta for the replies. Sort of what I thought anyway.
Powerlee, when you say 'newer pugs' is the 406 included in the models where the offset has changed? It would be a shame as there seem to be a lot of 406 wheels about .....

the 406 alloys are compatable with the 405, 306, 205 etc etc. if you want to try (or buy) a set i have 5X v6 406 alloys that i'd like to get rid of for £50.
