Juddery 306 (Solved!)

Post by Linchpin »

If you look deeper into the forum, you will see my call for help with a 306 XSi very juddery to pull off, needing a lot of rev's. People suggested stepper motor's and whatnot, but now its solved!
The exhaust had a slight blow. I took it to Pro-Speed exhausts in cardiff (south wales) for a complete new £400 system, and bingo! Problem solved. Turns out my centre box was empty, and looks like the baffling had gone into the back box, possibly blocking the exhaust gases? Anyway, if you do get a 306 (or other pug) thats giving the same symptoms, always check the 'zorst! My XSi is now smoother than ever!

£400, I take it that you could have a regular exhaust fitted instead ?
