405 GLD
Just bought car with no remote for central locking. Does anyone know the cheapest way of getting the system to work - replacement remote and reprogramme maybe?
Was wondering how the infra-red cover on roof console unclips, so I can find out what receiver I have in order to buy another one complete with remote on ebay.
Am I right in thinking another one should just plug into space in roof console. I imagine getting hold of new remote would cost around £60 from dealer.
Thanks for any help

Hi
Pop the map reading light out using a small flat blade screwdriver at the back of the unit.
Makes sure the key ISNT in the ignition, Remove the 2 x screws hidden under the map reading light & then unclip the sun visors.
Tilt the back of the roof consoul down & slide it away from the front of the car.
The remote locking unit is the black box with a black plug under that dark red plastic dome.
The code number you are after is on a YELLOW stick stuck to the unit.
When you put the roof consoul back, Align the clips at the front first & making sure no wires are trapped, Replace the 2 x screws.
Clip the map reading light back in.
