Under Bonnet Fuses

Post by Gotta New Pug »

Just been rummaging around all my fuse boxes looking for any blown fuses, as I downloaded fuse box diagrams (will supply link if anyone wants it) and found all to be ok except for one fuse in the under bonnet area fuse box, position F9 (oxygen sensor) didnt have a fuse in it even though it says it should, and position F8 did have a fuse although it shouldn't have! Needless to say I swapped em round but not made any difference that I can see or hear.
What will happen if the fuse was missing for oxygen sensor?
Car is 2.0 16v 406 GLX 1997 P.

Might be the fuse for the oxygen sensors heating element.
If the fuse was missing the sensor would take longer to heat up & the engine would burn slightly more petrol until it reaches the correct temperature.
