Isn't that the way the pedal should work (self adjusting or not)? Sitting on top of its travel? That's the way it works with them .... the pedal is always quite higher than the other. Just something to get used to!
The cable on the P-reg is always adjusting through the spring on the clutch itself! Its the way it is designed!
