ZX subframe mounts - Urgent help!

Post by Jiff Lemon »

Meant to be doing the rear subframe mounts on my ZX this weekend.
Ordered parts and they turned up today, but I'm convinced I've got identical front mounts instead of LH and RH.

Do they look identical to everyone else?

You have indeed got two items, both are RH issue. The reason I know is that in order to raise the ride height of my ZX I'm having to have two "spacers" made up to sit on top of those two. The chamfered corner, as seen best in the middle picture, actually is the forward end of the mounts and the chamfered bit faces towards the outside sill. This is due to the contours of the curvature of the body underneath the rear seat.

PS, there are two versions, according to Citroen but they couldn't tell me what they were. I actually took a pair off a Pug 306 which seem to have metal as above, but the Citroen ones I saw at my dealer looked rubber. Yours above look like the Pug ones I got from the breakers.
