ZX diesel filter

Hi everyone
I am rather ashamed to admit that I can't find the diesel filter on my 1.9D ZX estate (1996)...After 85000 miles I feel it probably wants changing, but it isn't under the bonnet like the BX or C15, and haynes is no help at all......

I think its the same as the Xantia - ie in a black plastic housing on top of the thermostat, the top is held by 4 allen bolts.

Yep I agree with nick it is.I own a 1.9TD ZX and the fuel filter is in the same place on the turbo diesel and the standard diesel, Locate your fuel pump on the left (has pipes going to the injectors)the oppsite that on the right is a black Houseing with four allen bolts on top and thats yer fuel filter plus as a note at the bottom of the houseing there is (or should be) a piece of tune that hangs from it, thats to drain excess fuel
