Citroen DID make the ZX Rally Raid as a 2-seater used on desert rallies from 1992 to 1999. The first 2 years they were in Camel Trophy yellow, the remaining years they were in red, badged as Total Oil sponsorship.

Ah, but this looks suspiciously like BL Damask red to me, my Allegro always did shine up nicely!!!!!

Yes, this must be the utility that the BX handbook mentions in the spec section- never seen one though, even in France.
