Xsara 1.9d est

Post by mikeg »

I have the chance to buy a no frills W reg Xsara 1.9d est. Body & silver paint excellent, drives well, no rattles or smoke etc & a good s/h. It has covered 142000 miles with a c/belt change at 120000 mls, 8 months mot. The dealer (friend) is asking £1900.00. Seems ok to me. Has any Forum member had dealings or know anything about this model that might help me decide, please? Oh, 2 previous keepers.
Thanks, Mike

No lecky windows on the base model? how quaint. You'll have to wind them down. Have only ever driven one once, years ago but it was the TD model. Good load lugger I thoght. Same interior as my VTR. Good engine if looked after right. The milage is nothing really.
