I think the 406 manual covers the HDi engine, so Haynes thinks the Xantia manual doesn't need to.

Subject: Re: [Xantia-L] Haynes manual Try the Russek/haynes combo

Hi everybody,
Qoute from Yahoo Xantia groups :
We will be bringing out a 2.0 litre HDi manual near the end of the month,
beginning of October. The manual is based on the 2.0 HDI Citroen Relay, but
the engine is of course the same in all Citroens. I hope this will help.

Paul B says - I believe the Russek manuals superior in every way unless you like photos (they use line drawings). Currrently I use Hatnes Picasso manual (has Hdi) + Russek Xantia manual.

The HDI is covered in the Xsara manual.

Haynes are bringing out an English HDi Xantia manual later this year too.
The French version has been available for a while.
