Boot light switch

Can anyone tell me where the boot light switch is on my estate please?Sometimes it dosen`t come on when opening the tailgate,or as you open it it will come on,only to go off again when the tailgate opens fully.Thanks

In the hatchback, it's near the tailgate lock. Look for a small white plastic tube, with a steel ball inside. Cleaning the inside of the switch will probably help.
