Citroen plip. Xantia same as ZX???

My Xantia remote is kaput. I have the chance to buy a good one from a ZX....will it work please if re coded?

They are different, but not sure if they can be programmed to work with the Xantia. Let me know if you decide you want a genuine Xantia version as I have one for sale.
