Ive got A citroen xantia 2.1td 12v r/98 .ABS warning light stays on all the time , can any one help please!

Start by checking the wheel sensors, they should read around 1kohm, it's most likely that one has gone open circuit or the connector has corroded.
Do a search as there is plenty of info on this.

you normally find it is the wheel sensor on the nearside which gets the most abuse from kerb hits etc. If you are removing one from a scrapper you will need lots of lubricating oil!

i have located the abs ecu , but can anyone tell me which connection goes to which sensor
anyone got any pics of the wheel sensors please

Had a similar issue with my xantia sx, I took it to a specialist yesterday, they checked the sensors using a voltage meter and found out that the front passenger side sensor was not responding, I had to pay £110 for a new one fitted??

Well they're about £60 to buy from GSF, so that's £50 for fitting which is probably the going rate.

Thanks Kowalski for the offer, do you mean £50 fitting charge only (which I paid already) or is it for the whole job?
