I'm planning to replace the front dampers of my ZX this weekend. Are there any pointers I should have in mind besides the obvious "be careful with the compressed spring"?
Thanks.

If original bottom ball joints, they'll be the star drive type. Give then a clean out before trying to undo. If they are OK you can re grease them by using a small screw driver to lever up the copper or brass clipp on the bottom of the rubber cover. Also the drop link has flats on it but on the thread side. It's a metric allen key that fitts in to the other end. So if it starts to turn don't frett as you can get a 13 or 12 mm spanner on the flats. [:D]
