ax radio

Post by caveman_si »

My old man has just knackered his radio beyond repair in his ax. God knows what he's done to it but its beyond help. So any one got a cheapo one lying about for a few quid OR know of anywhere that has basic radio/cassete units to fit an ax on cheap (he doesnt need anything more high tech he has enuff trouble turning on light switchs let alone a radio/cd player). his local garage wanted £100+ to replace!!!!
cheers guys

Often one pops up on ebay but an ax will take any normal car radio - it doesn't look like it but any one will fit, doesn't have to be an AX radio and doesn't need an adaptor plate.

The wiring is the same on pretty much all car radios, but for some you will need an aerial adaptor (Goodmans and JVC I know of, plus probably as said, Clarion) but that's about £2.50 from Hal***ds.
