Peugeot 309 early '90's model

Anyone know similarities to equivalent Citroen models? Was it available with turbo diesel or only atmospheric diesel?

The 309 was available with the normally aspirated 19D engine, and in 1988 or 89 until 1992 they also offered a Turbo diesel, this used the BX 1.7TD engine.
The 309 is basically a 205 with a slightly bigger body, underneath they are much the same.

The ZX is newer and shares more in common with the 306 I believe

Although it had a turbo diesel, it was the non intercooled version as used in the 205. I dont think a single component is shared with the ZX/306, but its very similar to a 205 as already stated.
