XM ride comfort

Post by couteau »

Hi Guys,
Is it normal for XM to have a rather harsh ride over small and sharp bumps like speed strips, etc.
My 1990 XM 2.0i is comfortable, if a little floaty at high speed (I stick the suspension to soft mode permanently by adjusting the electrovalve) but over small bumps, it is noisy and rather harsh.
Any advice what can I do to rectify this matter?

Which spheres might these be, since I have new spheres on all corners. Would flat accumulator sphere make such a difference in ride comfort?

Its the 'soft' sphere in the centre that is used in comfort mode. There is one for each axle. I think this would have more of a positive effect on ride comfort than the hard corner spheres.
