Brake fluid light

Hi all,
My dad has a ZX (as do I) with a problem with the brake fluid light.
We know its the same light as for the hand brake, but when going down a steep hill (incidentally with a full load of adults in the back) the light would come on. At the bottom of the hill it would flicker on and off and then go out, which indicates to me a fluid sensor problem. Can anyone shed any light on this, any similar problems etc?

Try topping it up to a little bit over the max and see if that cures it.

Yesterday had the same light fault (but only for a few continuous minutes during a three hour drive)on our ZX.... dropped by the local garage that's good with Citroens, and they said the same as above.... sensor set off by hills and/or turning... the brake fluid level was just about on the mark, but if anything a little bit below rather than above... and they added a wee bit more in.
