New CD player. Xsara

How's this then I think I got a bargin. Have fitted in to my Xsara VTR a Citroen CD changer set up. All parts except the lead where off E-bay. [:D]
Citroen CD compataible head unit, with the funny shaped front £25 [:D]
Citroen CD Changer (had to by another philips head unit with it) £60 [8D]
And a Citroen CD changer lead £43. [:(]
All in that's only £128 [:D] and took 1.5 hours to fit. That's still £70 cheaper than buying just the CD changer from Ha***ds or other audio shop.I have used rivets to hold a carpet tile band to the boot which the changer now sits in, black in colour and it looks the buisness. I did have a Sony unit fited but it looked out of place as the Mk1 Xsara has a funny shaped facia and I couldn't get hold a adaptor plate. Have got an adaptor that pushed the head unit forward so as more flush, but to me didn't look right. Any how now can play my vast collection of cassettes (aprox 500) as well as CD's. So it's some Talk, talk and OMD with a bit of Soft cell this week on cassette with REM, Chemical brothers, Super fury animals on CD. [8D]
