Plip programming RF

Post by markallinson »

I've found this link about plip programming
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=cache: ... ming&hl=en
Hope this helps, looks like its not a case of having to go to a dealer, although I've yet to try it, first I need a plip!

I got it to work, do not click the link and copy from the start of http://www.google.co.uk... to the end, then paste that as the address. I've tried relinking it, but it doesn't seem to want to know.

The above line is the complete address, it should work as I copied it from the address bar, copy it and paste it. Hope it works!

It looks like you are trying to link to a cached Google page.
And I don't think the forum code likes the URL.
You need.....

Code: Select all

http://w<b></b>ww.google.co.uk/search?q=cache:7VBViWJFD-MJ:ww<b></b>w.advanced-diagnostics.com.au/keyfob.pdf+peugeot+plip+programming&hl=en
OK, after numerous tries that seems to work, copy and paste the above line into your browser window (tip: quickly click it 3 times to select the whole thing[;)]). Apologies to anyone who's screen isn't wide enough to fit the whole line in and now has to scroll from side to side to read this page.

Think it shuold be ZX not Xsara. Xsara has 2 button remote and is radio signal not IR. You get 10 seconds to change the plip battery.

Try
www.peugeotdiesel.com
for programming instructions. They have them for Peugeots and are probably similar to Citroen.

<font color="blue"><font size="2"><font face="Comic Sans MS">Hi,
<b>On a 93 to 97 Xantia with 2 button plip</b>.
I sorted my flip out like this. Put your key into igition switch and turn on. Put plip right up to red dome in roof lining, by int. mirror. Press until your hear/feel a click , up to 12 times. Switch off ignition, and aim plip at dome, click it and it should work, ie lock/unlock doors. It works for me everytime. Obviously batteries should be ok in plip. If it doesn`t work, just turn ignition switch to the accessories position and retry the clicking at dome.
Hope this helps
