Xantia Immobiliser

I've just bought a 94 Xantia 2.0 LX, but without any of the usual owner handbooks etc. Can somebody tell me how to reset the immobilser code on the console ? I know the existing code, but as the car has been to garages and other veiwers lately, I thought it prudent to change the code asap.
This is my first posting, but rest assured....I'll be back.... [:)]

Hi
Quick guide to change the keypad code.
Switch ignition on & enter the code.
Press C button, Enter a different code & press C again.
4 Green flashes & 4 beeps from keypad = code changed.
You then have to validate the new code, Because both are now stored in the memory, The keypad will remember the code used next time & wipe the other one. this is a safety feature, People sometimes forget they have changed the code & use the old one.
Wait untill the next time you unlock the car & use your new code, the code you want to keep, this will erase the other code from the memory.
The later keypads have a service mode which is handy for lending you car to garage & friends without letting them know your secret code.
Later Keypads have a S button, early ones have a D/N button
Depending what keypad you have early one or later one, email me because I have both sets of instruction.

Regarding your handbooks, There not behind the little door to the right of the steering wheel are they, about level where your right knee would be?
