There goes comfort, handling, economy and probably reliability.
Still 3-stud wheels, eh?
I always read a bit of conceit in those who think they can improve on the design of the Deuche, which originated from a hand-picked team the likes of which has never been assembled since.

Assembled? Not a term I'd associate with a 2CV!

As the text goes, he did more than that. He fitted an antirollbar and shock aborbers on front, to suit the higher engine power.
... and he is "no more afraid of these bully Golf drivers".
He sure must have had fun with this project. Shame it's not possible (legal) to do such mod's in DK [:I]
