Hi,
i would like to know what the metal pipe is called that runs under the engine it's got afew curls ( looks like a spring ) in in fact there is two side byside i need to know the one on the drivers side i hope this helps. rob

Hi Rob,
- the coiled pipe runs to the safety valve (on car's left most side), with coils located just to the front of the subframe. Safety valve feed pipe.
The other pipe (right most towards engine) have a single coil near or around the accu sphere, and runs to the servo steering pinion valve. Servo (pinion valve) feed pipe.
These pipes differs in layout & lenght, according to engine type and servosteering fitted - or not. They are both 4.5mm steel pipes.
It's important then to inform your supplier the correct year & model of your BX.
Be sure you get new pipeseals with new pipes, and fit the (LHM wetted) seals over the pipe ends, NOT in the pipe ports, when fitting new pipes
