right then i hunted for a hour and still cant find the pulse tdc sender on my xantia
the only things ive found is the speedo drive unit which has 2 sets of plugs on it (i know this coz i put a new speedo cable on my old one)
on the top of the bellhousing just to the rear and down is a hole with a small thread where something can go
the tacho does the usual works for 5 mins then dies
anybody give me a better cluse where exactly this beastie is ie what its below next to etc

I think its on the top of the bellhousing, looks like a tdc sensor on a petrol model? Possibly directly under the vacunm pump at the end of the cam, the electrical connector was gummed up on mine, was fine after I cleaned it up, AT least I think it was for the tacho[:)] My revs needle sort of paused when the car was revved.
