Torsion Bar adjustment

Postby Chrisk » 26 Apr 2002, 02:47

Don't know if anyone can help or has tried this! I have read several accounts of lowering the torsion bars on a ZX, some say it's fairly simple, some are quite the opposite. I want to lower the car, a 1.8i Furio, about 40-50mm and would appreciate any advice anyone could give as I dont want to end up with the car in bits and no knuckles if its a job best left to the experts!!

As a matter of fact, I can't help (it'd take too long to talk you through) so refer you to this exellent page describing how to do it!! http://www.tuning.co.uk/puglowering/lowering.htm
Thanks and credit to the guys at www.tuning.co.uk for this.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
