whats the difference?(AX)

hi all, gave in and bought a ax debut 954cc injection! strictly talking about the engine, what is the difference from the GT engine? apart from the obvious displacement difference???? interested in knowing to help me with modifying my little ax! thanks in advance!

AFAIK the GT is a 1360cc with twin-carb.
Had a 14TZS a while back; almost GT performance but with 5 doors; great fun!

i thought standard GT's had only one carb? apart from displacement and compression i cant see much difference, not enough to give it the extra power anyway!lol

fuel system = 1 double Solex Carburetor
max power = 85 bhp/ 6400 rpm
max torque = 115 Nm/ 4000 rpm
0-60 = 8.5 Secs[:0][:p]
Max Speed = 112Mph
Dimensions:
wheelbase = 2280 mm
weight = 709 kg [:0][:0][:0]
Insurance Group = 9 [;)]

cheeselicking... need som help.. how can i improve my little ax until i finally can afford to insure it with a transplanted gt engine?!

What engie size is your AX? there's a few things you can do to a 1.0 such as fitting the inlet manifold & twin choke carb off a GT, but if its injection theres not that much really. just get yourself a GT or GTI.[:D][:D]
