Fitting Cruise control Xantia HDi Exclusive 2000

Post by sprout »

Would love to think it was as easy as Richard Gallaghers Berlingo, but alas I fear it is not!
My local dealer told me it would be better to go to an after market company. that is about £500!
I love the car but do miss cruise control.
If anyone knows what "Citroen" bits in total would be needed for my car, I would be grateful.
I know that cruise was on the V6 Exclusive.
If I know for sure all the bits needed I may scour the country for an accident damaged one. If I find one I obviously do not want to miss a vital part from the bits required.
Cheers
Martin
PS if not possible anyone had aftermarket cruise control fitted to any HDi 110?

Sprout, check www.conrad.com, part numbers 852803 and 852817 (do a search on these).
According to their catalogue (latest i have in hand is from 2003), the 852803 ("main") costs 225 euro, wich ought to be some 150 quid(?) and the other part number is 80 euro (infra red remote control, so you can get rid of wires and mount the control on the steering wheel).
Cheers!
