Hi,
I plan to have the wheelbearing and lower pivot ball replaced (both sides). To do this quickly, I plan to buy second hand hub carriers and fit new bearings and pivot ball, and then fit the hub carrier to the car. Can I use any hub carrier from any Xantia model/year? Are they all alike ?

Morten,
GSF only list one ball joint and wheel bearing for the Xantia, which would suggest that all the hub carriers are the same. However, several different types of driveshaft are listed, which would suggest the hubs themselves are not the same. Also I don't know if non-ABS cars will have the holes etc to carry the ABS sensors. Best bet would be to get one of the same type of car, but failing that, change the bearing and ball joint, just leaving yourself the hub to swap over 'on the day'.
